Our high-performance ductile iron pipe has been successfully supplied for this sanitation project in Limassol!

These high-performance water pipes were specifically chosen for their excellent performance and high adaptability to this project. The DC-LOK double-chamber restrained ductile iron pipes are protected against abrasion and corrosion with premium polyurethane internal lining, complying with EN 15655. Furthermore, the spigot/socket joints of the DN 700 pipes are protected with special PU to prevent corrosion at the joints due to the highly corrosive flow from pH1.

One batch of pipes has been equipped with external protection with ZnAl 400 g/m2 alloy (+) with a red epoxy finish layer, and the second batch, with a polyurethane (PU) external coating with 900 Mu thickness, to protect it from corrosion in highly corrosive soils and stray currents.

The supply was completed with the package of ductile iron fittings, both with DC-LOK restrained joints and flanged fittings. All fittings manufactured according to EN 598 were equipped with PU internal and external coating according to EN 15655 and EN 15189 to protect them from extreme corrosivity.

All of this for the transport of wastewater in accordance with EN 598.
