Case of Success

Valdelinares ski resort

Tipology
High pressure pumping
Artificial innovation

Location
Valdelinares
Teruel, España.

The Valdelinares ski resort was being expanded, creating new tracks and needing to expand its artificial wintering network.

The project contemplated the pumping of 20 liters per second (expandable to 40 liters per second) to an existing pond located at 1986 meters, from a catchment point located at 1587 meters.

The line runs in its first 3 km through an area with a steep slope, notably wooded and with some ups and downs.
